It's December, which can only mean one thing. Warm up your mixer and stock up on flour, it's time to make some baked goods! For some reason or other the holidays inspire even the novice of bakers to get in the kitchen a whip up something delightful. (Which, mind you, is a good thing.) There are recipe swaps and cookie parties of the likes you don't see at any other time of the year. I know I have at least 3 desserts to make coming up in the next few days.
The big question is always, what to make? Here's a quick run down of some of my favorite holiday treats:

Holy moly all these look so delicious! There are some great photos here and so many whoopie pie flavors! I may have to add some of these to my cookie arsenal for the holidays :) Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteDangerous, very dangerous. I am looking at this post after a looong and terrible day at work. Now I have all sorts of cravings. Man, those red velvet whoopie pies are probably my favorite!
ReplyDeleteWow, you've got some great recipes here and some I've never seen before. I am especially intrigued by the pistachio pie. I love pistachios but have always been grossed out by that pistachio pudding stuff with marshmallows, aka green slime because it looks like snot. Your pistachio pie actually looks appetizing and I think I want to try it!
